Boho (almost) Fall

Fall is here, finally! I’ve mentioned a couple of times how this is my favorite season of the year. I believe that’s probably because where I grew up is Summer all year long so it feels like something different to me.

I also love to wear jeans and sweaters and boots. I feel sooo comfy when it’s a bit chilly outside but I’m bundled up and warm… Y’all know the feeling, right? It’s like walking around wearing PJ’s all day… Well, kind of.

The thing is that in Savannah we barely experience fall. It seems like we go straight from summer to winter, which means that I have to take advantage of those few days in between.

As of now we are still in summer mode, and we’ll probably be for the next few weeks. That’s why today I’m sharing with you a (kind of) transitional look to go from hot temperatures to cooler ones, perfect for the very late summer days we are still leaving in the south.

Boho dress by Free People: I love this brand’s bohemian vibe. This dress has been in my closet for at least 2 years but it still feels current to me. I love that it’s short and that the sleeves give my arms some room to breathe… Perfect for this time of the year!

Vegan gladiator sandals by Steve Madden: anyone else obsessed with gladiators? My old leather ones ripped so I finally got a more conscious pair. These are made with PU so no animal cruelty!

Backpack by Mamie Ruth: this bohemian local brand offers handmade pieces that are made in the store! This backpack is an exception: it was made in Guatemala supporting communities in the country.

Earrings + Necklace + Nail polish by Kendra Scott: my favorite thing about Kendra Scott is the way they give back to the community! Their stores host “give back parties” all year round to help organizations and people in need. They make generous donations to different communities and now they’ve even launched a cruelty-free and non-toxic nail polish line!
