I love dates. I believe I may be addicted to them… especially medjool dates. They are nature’s most perfect candy and an amazing source of potassium. I use them to sweeten any recipe and love eating them by themselves or stuffed with almond butter!

Serves: 10 bites Prep Time: 10 min. Cooking time: - Total: 10 min.
- 10 pitted medjool dates
- 1/3 cup almond butter
- 1/8 cup hemp seeds
- 1 tbsp. maca powder
- 1 tbsp. raw cacao powder
- Pinch of sea salt
- In a food processor or blender combine the dates until they form a paste.
- Using your hands mix them in a bowl with the almond butter (wet your hands so the mix doesn’t stick to them)
- Add the maca, cacao and pinch of sea salt. Keep mixing. If the mix is not sticking together add a touch of filtered water (this will depend on what type of nut butter you use)
- Make the balls with your hands and run them through the hemp seeds.
P.S. You can get creative and add whatever superfoods you like!
